Requirements
What Are the Requirements for Kingdom Accreditation
The KAC program equips advisors with expertise in ethical, Catholic-aligned benefits consulting. Candidates must meet rigorous professional, bioethical, and spiritual standards, with ongoing education to maintain certification. CANDIDACY IS REQUIRED TO OFFER THE KINGDOM HEALTHPLAN.
Candidacy Requirements
Education
o Bachelor’s Degree or Higher: In finance, business, theology, or related fields. Verification: Official transcripts.
o
NCBC Bioethics Seminar: Complete a 2-day, in-person National Catholic Bioethics Center seminar within 12 months.
Professional Designations
o Certified Self Funding Specialist (CSFS): Within 2 years.
o Additional Designation: One of: (Within 3 years)
- Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC)
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
Work Experience
o Minimum: 3 years full-time in financial planning, benefits consulting, or related fields.
Spiritual & Ethical Accountability
o Letter of Good Standing: From parish priest, confirming active Catholic participation.
o Catholic Benefits Association (CBA) Membership
Continueing Education
Lifelong Learning
KACs must complete 20 CE units annually to maintain certification, blending faith, bioethics, and benefits expertise.
Annual Catholic Conference (10 Units, Mandatory): Attend one in-person:
o Napa Institute Summer Conference (July, Napa, CA)
o SENT Summit (September, varies)
o Catholic Medical Association Conference (September, varies)
Additional CE (10 Units):

FAQ
Can I do this through my existing agency that I am affiliated with?
Yes, we designed our solution so that broker consultants could maintain their existing business relationships and still offer the Kingdom Health Insurance Plan.
Any Restrictions?
Our Kingdom Health Plan can only be offered through Kingdom Accredited Consultants or candidates thereof.
Why the Requirement of Accreditation?
If our clients want a moral healthplan, we feel they should receive this advise from someone who also holds these deeply held beliefs. While well intentioned, those who do don't agree with the Catholic church's moral stance, should not be advising on it, including Catholics in name only. However, we also believe that it is equally important that our Catholic clients don't have to sacrifice the quality of the plan nor the quality of the consultant. This is why, besides the deep spiritual requirements, we also want to make sure our consultants are deeply knowledgeable and experts in their field of Health Insurance.
Network
What health network is used?
We will primarily use the Cigna network, though alternative networks may be available in regions where Cigna is not suitable.
insurance or Health sharing
Is this similar to Christian Health Sharing?
No. We use traditional insurance models, operating under Federal ERISA and state insurance laws, and are licensed by the Department of Insurance in each state where we operate.
Individual Coverage
Do you offer individual health insurance?
Our focus is currently on group health insurance. However, a new pro-life insurance company, Presidio Care, will launch in Texas in 2025. We plan to offer their product to individuals in the future.
TIMING
When can I implement this?
While many businesses renew health plans on January 1, about two-thirds of small businesses use different renewal dates throughout the year. Our plan can be implemented at any time, and we will credit deductible and out-of-pocket maximums to ensure a seamless transition for employees.

Legality
Is this legal?
The Catholic Benefit Association (CBA) has successfully fought
unconstitutional mandates at the federal levels. Employers
participating in the Kingdom Group Health Insurance Plan will
join the CBA to receive legal protection from the ACA immoral mandates.
